Paul Tepper grew up in Western Maryland and with the guidance of an excellent high school art teacher went to the Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in Illustration.

During his 15 years living in Columbus, OH he created large scale murals for beauty schools and developed his figurative fantasy paintings for gallery shows. He also created a painting of General Benjamin O. Davis Jr, famed Tuskegee Airman. This painting resides permanently in the Ohio State House.

In 2012 he moved to Brooklyn, New York, attending the New York Academy of Art in Tribecca for 1 year before developing his fine art brands Joy For A Broken World and Fur Baby Fine Art. During his 5 years in NYC he sold paintings in SOHO while developing his online presence, placing thousands of works of art into homes across 30 countries.

Since moving to Cumberland, MD in 2017 he has continued to build his brand in both scale and quality in his home that he shares with 4 Boston terriers, Buster, Jake, Freddie, and Owen.
