Joy For a Broken World was born in February of 2014. What began as a small piece created to cheer up an ailing grandmother, grew into a series that has made an impact in 30 countries on six continents. Developed through color, texture and design, the cracks and layers show the broken nature of the world, and the vibrant colors and large eyes represent a stubborn refusal to give into the despair that life often offers. Everyone has struggles that come and go – here’s to finding the joy in the midst of whatever the world throws at you.
